Where We Stand: Three Portals, a new Booking System — Ready for Your Guests

Dear clients, partners, and property owners,

Over the past months I have built something for you that did not exist in this form for Sicilian property owners before: your own curated marketing and booking channel—independent of Booking.com, Airbnb & Co., with a direct connection between you, carefully prepared listings, and exactly the guests who are looking for Sicily, not just the lowest price.

That is the short version. The long one deserves a few paragraphs.

What is already in place

Over the past months a platform has taken shape that does something in every layer that the old ferienhaussizilien.de could not.

The numbers, cleanly transferred. 94 owners with 261 accommodations, 647 individually recorded units and rooms, more than 4,500 photos, 117 destination guides, 144 experience listings, over 5,000 seasonal price entries, and a catalogue of 57 amenities. No data loss, no forgotten listings, no broken relationships.

The heart of it—the new inquiry and booking system. Until now, booking inquiries were a loose back-and-forth of emails. Now every inquiry lands in a structured workflow: automatic availability checks, a clean separation between inquiry, reservation, and confirmed booking, automated notifications, and payment reminders. You, as an owner, get your dashboard where every transaction for your property arrives bundled in one place. Nothing is lost, nothing is forgotten, and nothing depends on my inbox anymore.

Three specialized front ends. ferienhaussizilien.de and its sister portals sicily.vacations and casevacanzasicilia.it get a modern face. The travel site sicily.holiday shows places and regions—and leads from there directly to your listings. The real estate site sicily.realestate catches buyers interested in your property. Three doors into the same house.

A newsletter that arrives. This email comes from the new system. The fact that it reaches you reliably is itself the platform's first live test—and it works.

Why not live yet?

An honest answer: because I want to do it right. Whatever goes public must work from day one—for guests who want to book and for owners whose listings need to be displayed correctly.

What I am still checking: the full inquiry-to-booking cycle, multilingual coverage in every corner, image quality, mobile display, search engine indexing. Each is manageable on its own. The sum takes time.

That is why I will not give you a fixed date today. But I am approaching the point where everything is in place.

What you can do now

Two specific requests.
